One of the policies of this website is that even unanswered questions will not go unseen. I don't know why actress Melanie Robel ultimately decided not to respond to the questions I sent her for a second interview here, especially since she brought up the prospect of a second interview to me and seemed pretty darn excited that a film she appears in (A Blood Story, directed by Joe Hollow) will be out on DVD and VOD June 9th (today, as this goes to press).
In fairness to Melanie, she was great during my first interview with her. She gave detailed and thoughtful answers to my questions and even sent two signed photos afterwards, to show her appreciation. All those who've worked with Melanie and I've spoken with, hold her in very high regard, so, not following through on any project seems to be completely out of character for her. I assume she had her reasons not to do this and that's fine. Anyway, what follows are my questions for Melanie Robel. At left is where a recent photo of Melanie would have gone and the photographer would have been given credit here.

MELANIE ROBEL:
CHRIS: According to your IMDb page, you have a few films that are in various stages of production. What other films of yours will be out this year?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: One of the ones announced is entitled Sasquatch vs. Yeti. You have to tell me about that one and your role in it.
MELANIE:
CHRIS: I haven't seen it yet, but you've gotten some accolades for your performance in Lamb Feed, including a Best Supporting Actress award from Fantastic Film Fest, correct?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: That film was shot in Fresno?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: Where have been some of your more memorable filming locations?
MELANIE:

CHRIS: A web series you worked on last year, Hell's Kitty, is about a Hollywood writer who has a possessed cat. Who is your character in that one?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: Was it just one cat that was used for all the "cat scenes" in that one or did they have several look-alike cats at the ready?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: I know you have a real fondness for cats. Are you involved with any animal advocacy organizations?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: You recently Tweeted "Shut down the (Facebook) fan page. Thank god" Care to expand on that?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: You recently posted some photos from some of your older pin-up shoots. Any desire to do any more of that type of modeling again?
MELANIE:

MELANIE:
CHRIS: You do something very thoughtful that, unfortunately, is a dying tradition. You send out Christmas cards in the mail. I happen to have the honor of being on your Christmas card list. So, how long is that list and how long have you been doing that?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: You were on the list of shout outs at the end of Liane Langford's book, My Life as Julia Roberts - Snapshots of a Life. You two haven't know each other very long, but it seems like you became very close. When was the first time you met her?
MELANIE:
CHRIS: Well with that, I'll say it's been a pleasure to have had you here again, Melanie. In closing, any shout-outs?
MELANIE:
A clip or trailer featuring Melanie would have gone above.

Great questions as always Chris! I suppose readers can use their imaginations and fill in the blanks.
