Friday the 13th Victim, Judy

Throughout the Friday the 13th franchise (except for the first one, of course, since it was mom doing the killing in that one), Jason Voorhees has always been an innovative and resourceful murderer. A prime example of that is this scene from Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, in which Jason uses the sleeping bag that Judy seemed to think would keep her safe from him if she just tucked her head inside of, as a tool to pummel her against a tree. Friday the 13th Victim, Bree

In all of the entries in the original Friday the 13th franchise, Jason Voorhees usually made very quick work of his victims, slaying most without them even knowing what, much less who, hit them. However, in this scene from 2009 remake of Friday the 13th, Jason takes a moment to savior Bree's fear before impaling her on a pair of antlers.

As for Julianna Guillm, the actress playing Bree in the above scene, she's been busy for over a decade, as her IMDb will show. Despite her extensive acting resume, she'll probably go down in history (among horror fans, anyway) as having the most memorable mammaries in any Friday the 13th film.

Friday the 13th Victim, Chelsea

It's that day again and here we have Camp Crystal Lake visitor Chelsea, played by Willa Ford, getting skewered from above and providing viewers with a brief posthumous breast flash, in the 2009 remake of Friday the 13th.

Unlike many of the actresses who've played hapless victims of Jason Voorhees, Miss Ford is not and probably will not, end up in the "Whatever Happened to..?" file. Although her official website looks pretty old-style and hasn't been updated since 2012, the now-34 year-old singer-turned-actress, who used to go by "Mandah," has stayed busy since she began her career in 1999. Friday the 13th Victim, Lana

It's that date again, so in recognition of Friday the 13th, above is sexy waitress Lana (played by Rebecca Wood) literally getting axed in the franchise's 1985 installment, Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. Just prior to her death, Lana gave a gratutious breast flash, so you just knew she was going to get it, however she didn't get it from Jason. She got it from (SPOILER ALERT) a paramedic named Roy Burns, who donned the infamous hockey mask and stepped into the then-allegedly-dead Jason's role, in order to seek revenge for his son, who was murdered earlier in the film. As far as Rebecca Wood; she's been residing in the "Whatever Happened to..?" file ever since her last role; a small part in the 1991 film Switch.

Friday the 13th Victim, Alice Hardy

Not exactly a post to get one into the Christmas spirit, but it is Friday the 13th, so here's the sole survivor of the original film, Alice Hardy (played by Adrienne King), feeling the wrath of Jason's revenge in the opening scene of Friday the 13th Part 2. Alice was Jason's first victim in Part 2. For your Friday the 13th trivia question; can you name his first victim in the original?

Friday the 13th Victim, Eva Watanabe

Serial killer Jason Voorhees isn't a discriminating slayer, but to date, his only Asian female victim has been Eva Watanabe (played by a then-unknown Kelly Hu), in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989). As you can see from the above scene where Eva meets Jason, and her fate, her death sure wasn't merciful, but at least it was "splatter-free."

As for Kelly, she's definitely not one to be found in the "Whatever Happened to..?" file. In fact, she's gone on to have the most successful career of all the ladies who've played prey for Jason in any of the films in the franchise. See her list of credits, spanning 26 years, at her IMDb page.

Friday the 13th Victim, Nikki

Another Friday is upon us and in recognition of that, here's Nikki (played by Darcy DeMoss) leaving a lasting impression in the wall of an RV, courtesy of Camp Crystal Lake's own Jason Voorhees in 1986's Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI.

Unlike most of the actresses who've been victims of Jason, Darcy hasn't faded away into obscurity, which a look at her IMDb listing will reveal. When she was younger, she looked a bit like Jennifer Love Hewitt (who never was in a Friday the 13th flick, but was great in I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequel).

Friday the 13th Victim, Annie

Even though many of the actresses I feature and interview here have done primarily horror films, this is not to be considered a horror film blog. However, in honor of Friday the 13th, I've decided to ask you, dear readers, if you know the full name of Jason's first female victim in the original 1980 horror classic Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th Victim, Claudette

For this entry into the Friday the 13th special features, we go all the way back in the storyline to the summer of 1958, when the vengeful Pamela Voorhees, claimed her first two victims.

Mrs. Voorhees blamed the inattentive and concupiscent Camp Crystal Lake counselors for her son Jason's drowning, a year earlier, believing if they had been watching him, instead of groping each other, they would have seen Jason needed help. Above we see the nubile Claudette, played by Debra S. Hayes, being targeted by Mrs Voorhees, after she made quick work of the male half of the couple.

Friday the 13th Victim, Jenna

Just when it looked like Jenna (played by Danielle Panabaker ) was going to get away from Jason toward the end of the 2009 Friday the 13th remake, she gets skewed and added to his list of kills. As for Danielle, her IMDb page shows that this was hardly her first role, and that she's done plenty since.

Friday the 13th Victim, Mrs. Voorhees

Going back to the original, here we have the climatic scene in 1980's Friday the 13th which the original killer, Mrs. Pamela Voorhees (Betsy Palmer), attacks camp counselor Alice (Adrienne King) in a fit of psychotic rage to avenge her son Jason's death, some 23 years prior. However, Mrs. Voorhees ends up on the losing end of the machete, a tool that plays a key role in subsequent entries in the Friday the 13th franchise ....as does Mrs. Voorhees' head.

Friday the 13th Victim, Violet

(SPOILER ALERT) The killer in 1985's Friday the 13th - A New Beginning wasn't Jason Voorhees, because he was "killed" in the previous year's Friday the 13th - The Final Chapter, and wasn't "revived" until 1986's Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI. The Killer in a New Beginning was a man named Roy Burns and one can easily assume he killed Violet (as shown in the above clip) because of her terrible dancing.

Violet was played by actress Tiffany Helm, who actually studied dance and was a member of the Beverly Hills Mime Troupe. During her career, which spanned roughly from 1983 to 1996, she appeared in several other films and also some popular TV shows of the era. One of her most notable roles (besides this one) was that of Andrea "Fish" Eldridge in the 1986 cult favorite Reform School Girls. Her last listed film appearance was in the 1996 movie Rama. Since then, she's been residing in the "Whatever Happened to ..?" file.

Friday the 13th Victim, Ethel

Veteran actress Carol Locatell will probably always be best remembered for her role as Junior's mom Ethel, in 1985's Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. Here we see, after her son losing his head, Ethel becoming an ingredient in her own stew. By last accounts, Carol is still alive and well, running the acting workshop she founded in New York City.

Friday the 13th Victim, Terry

Even though Terry wasn't shown getting killed on camera in Friday the 13th Part II, we know she did, and knowing Jason, we also know it wasn't pretty. As for Kirsten Baker, the portraying actress, her IMDb credits end with her small role in the 1987 drama Weeds. However, she has appeared in front of the camera in more recent years, as well as made appearances at horror conventions to meet fans. The guys at the fan blog, Friday the 13th: Today, have some articles on Kirsten that cover more on that.

Friday the 13th Victim, Vickie

It's Friday the 13th, so to commemorate that, here's another victim from the horror movie franchise that took its name from this unlucky day. Vickie (as it's spelled in the closing credits and played by Lauren-Marie Taylor) finds a pre-hockey mask-wearing Jason Voorhees laying in wait under the covers in Friday the 13th Part 2. As mentioned previously, Jason didn't don the now iconic goalie mask until part 3 (in 3-D).

Friday the 13th Victim, Marcie Cunningham

Again, in honor of Friday the 13th, here's Marcie Cunningham (No relation to director Sean, since he's a real person and Marcie is a character played by actress Jeannine Taylor) from the original Friday the 13th, getting a splitting headache from Mrs. Voorhees. That's right; Mrs. Voorhees. Jason didn't show up as the killer until part 2, the following year. (Too bad Casey Becker didn't know that when she was asked in Scream, or she'd still be aliv....naaa, he still would have killed her.)

Friday the 13th Victim, Vera Sanchez

In honor of Friday the 13th, here's Vera Sanchez (played by Catherine Parks) performing her last act; retrieving a wallet she dropped in the water in Friday the 13th Part 3 (in 3D). And for a trivia question; how many victims had the hockey-mask-wearing Jason claimed prior to Vera? Answer after the jump.
