Shannon McDonough

On St. Patrick's Day, it's couldn't be more fitting than to feature a beautiful Irish lass who's dressed for the occasion, and actress Shannon McDonough definitely fits the bill.

Despite appearing in mainly horror films, such as It Came from Another World!, Terror From Beneath the Earth, Attack of the Moon Zombies, and The Giant Spider, the Minnesota native's favorite film genre is romance, both dramas and comedies. She's said of doing horror films; "I didn't think I'd like horror at first, but it's kind of fun getting all bloody and dirty." As of this writing, Shannon has just completed her work on Jarrod Crooks' Dispatched, which is currently in post production and slated to be released later this year.

Also a talented singer and DJ, Shannon has performed at many hot spots in and around her native Minneapolis. You can look forward to an interview with Shannon at this site in the near future, in which she'll confirm she's a gourmet cook, a former Rogue Cinema Sleepover Girl, and an avid Doctor Who fan.

2013 Christmas Compilation

After catching Kristina Michelle (above) in her very recent holiday photo shoot with Scott T. Morrison of Discovery Photo, it gave me the idea for this Christmas-themed post featuring some of the ladies I've had the pleasure of interviewing over the past few years. Zombierella - Messer Chups' Bombshell Bassist

Svetlana Nagaeva, better known as Zombierella or Zombie Girl, is the bombshell bassist for the horror surf band (as they are best described) Messer Chups. Hailing from from St Petersburg, Russia, Messer Chups' sound is reminiscent of the great surf rock bands of the 1960s but they definitely have their own unique style, which combines surf sounds, classic B-movie horror, and retro-themed artwork. Their instrumentals like "Twin Peaks Twist," "Tremolo From the Crypt," and "Zombie in a Mini Skirt" are just as cool as the titles. Zombierella's vocals on tunes like "Jason Bond 0013," spiked with her famous shrill, spine-chilling scream, make you wonder how a girl can sing, play, look so sexy and be so cool, all at the same time. Sexy Taiwanese Quintet Does the Harlem Shake

One never knows what the next Internet meme is going to be or why it catches on and spreads like wildfire, but sooner or later, there will probably be a sexy Asian version of it. (Take for instance, this adaptation of the inanely popular "Charlie Bit My Finger." )

In the case of one of the latest memes, the ever viral "Harlem Shake," we have the above performance by five outrageously hot Taiwanese babes. The ladies are; Ting Ting ("Little Red Grinding Hood"), Xuan Xuan (stretching out with the leg up high), DJ Alyshia .L (working the black lingerie), Natasha Liang (the gyrating girl with the butterfly tattoo), and Cookie Wu (joggling the juggs). Oh, and you don't have to wait for the two solo performances that are "coming soon" because Alyshia's is here and Natasha's, here.

Roberta Gonzales

If you live in a metro area where there are several local news stations to choose watching, you might gravitate toward a particular one, for one reason or another. In my case, it's KPIX Channel 5 in San Francisco, whose chief meteorologist is Roberta Gonzales. Besides having never been wrong about the weather, Roberta's bio reads like that of the main female character in an action movie.

To say Roberta has a busy schedule is an understatement. Besides being in the studio Monday through Friday to deliver the weather report four times a night on live TV, she also delivers it every half hour from 3:00PM to 9:00PM on KCBS radio. Her days "off" are usually spent training for whatever the next marathon or triathlon she'll be competing in and attending events for charities she actively supports. At one such event, she rappelled down a 38-story building. Oh, and if the San Jose Sharks are playing at home, the avid hockey fan can often be found in "The Tank," cheering them on.

Just last evening, Roberta found time in between news broadcasts at KPIX studios, to personally answer my e-mail questions and send me the online hello you see above. Even though our correspondence was through e-mail, Roberta, obviously not one to put things off until later, replied to me so quickly, it was practically a real-time interview.

Asian Ladies of the Lingerie Football League

Spawned by the popular Super Bowl halftime feature, the Lingerie Bowl, the Lingerie Football League had its inaugural season just last year. Having sexy, lingerie-clad players was probably thought to be the only way a womens football organization could survive, but these ladies aren't merely eye-candy in some powder puff league. In fact, some of the players even have semi-pro experience.

In the LFL, the ladies play all-out, full-contact football for two 17-minute halves on an indoor arena-size field under arena-type rules. However, you're not here to read about all that, so anyway ....browsing the rosters of the 10 teams revealed a handful of Asian gridiron girls, most notably Korean-born G-N Kang (above and yes; she uses a hyphen in her name), who plays center for the Philadelphia Passion. G-N's "day job" is co-host of the "Chio in the Morning" radio show on Philly's Wired 96.5 FM.
